The department has started its function in 2017 by offering 2 courses in BCom stream, BCom Finance and Taxation Model I and BCom Computer Application Model II. During the year
2019- 20 we started one more course BCom Travel and Tourism Model I. There are 11 full-time teachers in the Department of Commerce. We have presented three batches and they produced good results in University Final Year Examinations.
Of the 11 faculty members 4 have registered and pursuing for PhD. Among them 3 Papers presented and 13 articles published in leading journals and attended many seminars and workshops at National level. Four of them qualified NET.
